At The Glynne Arms, we can provide the perfect venue for your event be it a wedding, party, funeral wake, meeting or conference. We have several private rooms and areas in the pub, and our team will prepare the best locally- sourced food and drink, and provide an exceptionally high standard of exible, personalised service, allowing you to enjoy the event itself.

The Glynne Arms makes an excellent choice as a venue for your wedding reception, Christening or party. With an emphasis on great food and the very best service, our capable team is on hand to plan a bespoke and reasonably priced celebration with you.

We will consult with you on the menu at every stage ensuring that it is just right for your special day, as well as your budget. We strive to always use seasonal produce, but are flexible with our menu and can tailor it to your ideas and needs. We have an expertly curated wine list from around the world, and a wide range of ales sourced from local microbreweries for your guests to enjoy.

Our main Gladstone Room is a large, beautifully light and airy room with views overlooking the castle gates at the centre of Hawarden. It is decorated in a wonderful vintage style, and we encourage guests to add their own theme or decorations for their wedding or party. Your party will have its own spacious bathroom with shower, tea and coffee making facilities, sitting room for your exclusive use, and should you need it, we can help with recommendations for the best local orists and photographers. The Glynne Arms provides a friendly and unobtrusive venue for a funeral reception with the choice of either
a table service menu, a buffet menu or tea and cakes
to choose from. Our experienced team is on hand to discuss your requirements and handle your booking with sensitivity and professionalism. Our rooms upstairs will give you all the privacy you need, with views overlooking the castle gates at the centre of Hawarden.

Here at The Glynne Arms we aim to provide the perfect venue for your meeting, conference, reception or workshop. Our two function rooms are ideal for corporate and business meetings where a private space is required, or private dining for a group of colleagues.

The large Gladstone room is exceptionally exible and can be laid out in a number of ways according to your needs.

The Glynne Room shares the views of the village, and seats up to six guests making it perfect for smaller meetings or events, or as an add-on to the Gladstone Room should extra private space be needed.

Use of the entire upstairs suite comprises of the following:

  • The Glynne Room - 30’ x 14’

  • The Gladstone Room – 13’ x 8’

  • Sitting Room, Kitchen, Bathroom

  • Complimentary WiFi

  • LCD projector and Screen

  • Large TV screen compatible with many devices (please ask)

  • Flip-chart and pens

  • Unlimited tea and coffee making facilities in kitchen

  • Unlimited bottled still and sparkling water

  • Boiled sweets or mints

  • Free parking

Terms and Conditions: No food or drink to be brought in from outside, all must be purchased from The Glynne Arms. No Dancing/discos. £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. Confirmation of numbers and requirements must be made 7 days prior to the event, with the exception of funerals and wakes if time is short. Full payment must also be made 7 days prior to the event. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will be charged at full rate of confirmed requirements.
