Our formerly monthly Sunday night pub quiz at The Glynne Arms is so popular -and fiercely contested- that it now takes place every other weekend!

Gather your most knowledgable friends and join Matt, our expert quiz master from 7pm. Our quiz costs £2 per person, £1 goes towards Shelter Cymru and the other £1 goes into a rollover or jackpot prize. So come on down for a great time and support a good cause.

We have a special menu of tasty bar snacks to feed your brain too.

We really enjoy having children in as part of the lively mix of personalities in the pub. We have fun games, puzzles and colouring books to keep them occupied. Our special ‘family food’ menu carries traditional favourites which are freshly cooked using healthy, locally sourced ingredients.

HEFS Loyalty Cards 1.JPG

Our loyalty cards are extremely simple; with every transaction over £20 you make at The Glynne Arms, The Farm Shop or our Broughton Park Cafe + General Store, you'll receive a stamp on your card, and as you collect your stamps you earn yourself something good from us.

This can be anything from a pack of our homemade Estate Sausages from the Farm Shop butcher, or a sandwich in our Farm Shop cafe or vouchers to spend at either the Farm Shop, the Glynne Arms or the Cafe + General Store in Broughton.

As you collect your stamps you'll progress from our Bronze through to Silver and then Gold cards, with the rewards getting better as you go. This is our way of saying thank you to you for shopping local and supporting your local farmers. Ask a member of our team and we can issue you with your first card.

Have you heard about our coffee reward card? Buy any nine cups of coffee (or tea) and we'll give you a stamp on your card each time, and you'll get the tenth cup for free. And the best bit is that you can use this card across our businesses whether it be here at The Glynne Arms, the Farm Shop, or the Cafe + General Store at Broughton Park. So stop by and pick up your card with your next tea or coffee.

Our vouchers come in the format of a physical rosette, which makes a great present to hand over to family, friends or colleagues. These vouchers are valid at the Farm Shop, Broughton Park Café + General Store and The Glynne Arms. Ask a member of our team if you would like to buy a gift voucher.

We love dogs, and well-behaved ones are welcome any time. We can help with feeding and water bowls, dog-shaped corners by the fire, or places to tie them up outside while you pop in for a drink.

We provide free, reliable wi-fi at The Glynne. No question about it. In this day and age it’s a necessity. We also provide a very relaxed environment – with steaming coffee, tea or any cold drinks you like – in which to get some work done.

Courtyard beer Garden

The old courtyard at the back of the pub, where carriages would once have stopped and turned, is now a very jolly (beer) garden, where we also grow our own herbs. It's a really good place to have a drink or something to eat on a Summer's evening.

It’s a colourful, sheltered, warm place to eat and drink. We also hold barbecues and hog roasts here. There is seating for about 30 people.

We have about 10 spaces at the pub, and the next nearest free parking is a car park on Tinkersdale Road, about 100m from the pub.
